What a great start of the year for Portable Diagnostic Systems (PDS)! They just received a $10,000 cash prize from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). PDS is a biotech startup that graduated from NextFab’s startup accelerator program in the spring of 2021. They are developing a multi-drug testing platform for law enforcement that aims to provide accurate drug screening data from a small sample of saliva and is quick and easy to collect on the roadside.
