NextFab Ventures is excited to welcome Rezzi (
https://www.rezzicompany.com) to its community of hard-tech startups. Rezzi was started to help make waste collection more transparent and support communities in reducing their waste generation.

Municipal solid waste is a growing nationwide problem and as landfill capacity is estimated to reach 0 by 2036, municipalities have begun to implement solutions to better track and reduce their waste generation. Rezzi began developing SmartCan, an IoT device that allows communities to better manage their waste programs and allows waste haulers to provide more transparency in their service offerings.

Andrew Murray, CEO of Rezzi: “We are excited to partner with NextFab Ventures as we look to ramp up our production and seek pilot opportunities with municipalities. NextFab Ventures will provide us with the product development support we need to better meet our customer’s demands and needs as well as offer us the mentorship we need to help change the way that waste is collected. We believe that SmartCan is the first step to fundamentally changing how waste is collected and bringing the waste collection industry into the digital future, and we are excited to partner with NextFab Ventures to help make this a reality.”
